Margaret has owned & operated STS Accounting Group (formerly known as Surfcoast Taxation Services) since 1994. She is a Certified Practising Accountant, Certified Tax Adviser, Registered Tax Agent & Registered Superannuation Fund Auditor.
Helping people is her passion, whether it be setting goals for your business or for you personally. She has faced many challenges & vast experience though her involvement in the family farming operations & running STS Accounting.
Margaret is a keen tennis player & also enjoys spending time in the garden & in the outdoors.
Renee has a background in Insurance, as a qualified Insurance Broker, and more recently in Early Childhood Education.
She joined our team in 2017 and greets everyone with her warm smile and willingness to help.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her children, gardening, reading, and being on the farm.
Previously in the retail industry for 7 years, Andy transitioned into Accounting, graduating with a Bachelor Of Commerce ( Accounting) from Swinburne University in 2018.
His interest in a career as an accountant is based on turning the "boring numbers" into useful information to assist clients in making effective decisions.
He also enjoys taking this knowledge to the next level, as he delves deeper into understanding his client’s workflows, goals, and industry nuances, to support them in growing their business sustainably.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys spending time with his family including his gorgeous one-year-old daughter. Taking her to the park after work and heading to the Barwon Heads beach on the weekends is Andy’s favourite way to unwind.

Rob started his career in farming in the Deniliquin area as owner/operator of an irrigation farm and then spent a period of time as a mortgage broker and financial planner focusing on personal insurance and succession planning.
Following a move to the Bellarine, Rob joined STS in 2021 as an accountant and now provides options and information to people considering moving to a Retirement Community or an Aged Care facility.
Rob can be found on the golf course or fly fishing in his spare time. He also enjoys hiking and interacting with his "Brady Bunch" of 6 children.

Isaac is currently studying a double degree of Commerce and Property & Real Estate at Deakin University alongside his role at STS Accounting as our student intern. Growing up in Geelong, as a young boy he thought he’d be a tradie or a builder, but as the world around him opened up he was intrigued by the flow of commerce.
His work at STS has given Isaac great work experience and perspective that he carries into his study.
On the weekends you’ll find Isaac loves to watch AFL and soccer.
As a vibrant community member, Sue recently joined our Wincheslea office to manage our administrative processes. With over 14 and half years at the Community Bank (Bendigo Bank), and working on her family’s farm, Sue is highly efficient, supremely organised and excels in communication.
Sue’s organisational skills provide her with the structure to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and by the required deadlines while supporting her work colleagues and clients
In her downtime, Sue loves to spend time with family and friends, going to the beach, gardening, and fishing. Drop-in and say hi to Sue, she looks forward to greeting you on the phone or in-person in the near future.

Lynn has a wonderful can-do attitude to work. Looking after STS’ Accounts Payable, Lynn is infectiously positive in her admin role and is capable of floating wherever the help is needed. In her previous role she was a Business Manager at a local Primary school so became pretty good at managing school admin whilst simultaneously fielding queries, bandaids and ice pack requests from the little people of the school.
Away from work Lynn enjoys spending time with her family, reading, visiting plant nurseries, and working in her garden.
Kim Thomas is a Certified Practising Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in business services and taxation in the Geelong region. Kim specialises and looks after our clients with Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and can assist with their setup. Kim has gained considerable knowledge servicing business clients across a variety of industries and enjoys assisting clients to help their businesses grow.
In her spare time Kim enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family and friends.
Liz is an enthusiastic and energetic member of the team. She enjoys building relationships with her clients and is determined with helping them in any way she can.
She has two beautiful children that keep her very active. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys playing basketball and is an avid Geelong FC supporter.

Jeanette joined the team in 2015. She loves helping clients understand the ups & downs of their business. Her zest for life & work is apparent in her dealings with clients & staff.

Annette is the friendly voice that answers the phone from the STS Torquay office.
As our Torquay admin support, Annette loves working with the friendly and supportive staff that make up the STS team. The Clients are likewise as friendly and appreciative to deal with - shown by the long standing clients that she interacts with regularly.
When she‘s not at STS she loves to spend time with her two grandchildren. Annette also likes to dabble in arts and crafts, painting, drawing and making jewellery. Annette enjoys breaking a sweat pumping iron and keeping fit. Though don’t ask her to walk along the beach, she’s not a big fan of the sand.
Rina started working with STS in February 2017. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines since 2010 and she worked as bank auditor from 2011 to 2016 and pursued career as bank accountant from 2016-2017. Rina loves travelling. She also enjoys reading books and watching movies.
Macren joined the STS team in 2019. Working as a Certified Accountant in the Philippines since 2012, she commenced her offshore accountancy work in 2014. Embracing the challenges of working online, Macron is a vital team member, supporting local staff to ensure clients requirements expectations are always exceeded.
Macren is a keen traveller, hiker and nature lover. For fun she likes Bullet journalling, watching movies & reading a good book.
