Awards (modern awards) are legal documents that outline the minimum pay rates and conditions of employment. There are more than 100 industry or occupation awards that cover most people who work in Australia.

Fairwork Australia has a comprehensive library of awards listed that outline the awards and entitlements for employees in each industry. Noting that many of the Awards update annually on the 1st of July. If you don’t know which one applies, Fairwork has a quiz that can help you find your award.
