Read. Watch. Listen with Renee Williams

This month we’re checking in with Audit Assistant and Relationship Coordinator Renee Williams.

Renee is based in our Winchelsea office and has recently moved into this new role from Office Administration.

She’s loving the new challenge and enjoys still having the ability to catch up with long-term and new clients.

Let’s find out what she’s been reading, watching, and listening to recently…

WHAT TO | READ

I’m currently reading The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes by Suzanne Collins, which is a prequel to The Hunger Games trilogy. Both of my children & I enjoyed the Hunger Games books & movies, so this one will be shared with the kids once I’m done.

Available online or at your local bookstore.

WHAT TO | WATCH

One of my favourite TV shows at the moment is Restoration Australia. I enjoy watching the property owners bringing back & preserving the historical buildings.

It’s also quite interesting to see their budget at the beginning, and then watch how they try not to go over it, but usually do! I also am interested in DIY renovations, so I find I learn a thing or two whilst watching.

You can catch the latest episodes of Restoration Australia on ABC’s iview

WHAT TO | LISTEN TO

I’m currently listening to a podcast called Narelle Fraser Interviews.

Narelle is an ex-police detective for the Vic police, who retired after 27 years due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

She interviews all sorts of different people about the impacts of crime and discusses her PTSD.

It’s very interesting to hear her views, and the way she treats her interviewees is so incredibly compassionate.
