It is now very clear that we will face many challenges in light of the continuing developments around the coronavirus (COVID-19).
WHAT ARE DOING
We have a plan in place to ensure our business can continue to operate during this challenging time.
We have the ability to have our team work remotely with very little disruption to the service we provide to you. We ask at this time that our clients observe the social distancing recommendations and keep communication with to telephone &/or email.
Our Torquay and Winchelsea offices will remain open. We will advise you if we have to implement further measures as more information becomes available.
STS Accounting Group is committed to managing our response in line with Government advice, our own Business Continuity Plans and emerging best practice as the situation unfolds.
Our commitment is to the safety of our people and our clients and promoting resilience in the greater community. As a part of this commitment, we will ensure our business is equipped to continue to protect our clients, with strong knowledge and understanding of the Government’s stimulus package.
WHAT WE ARE ASKING OF YOU
For the next month or so, you will see less of us physically, however, we are committed to continuing to deliver a high-quality service to you via other means. As a result please limit any requests for non-essential in-person meetings.
Please contact us if you wish to visit the office so that we can advise you on what is possible, particularly if you have travelled overseas recently.
We will be continuously monitoring the situation as it unfolds and will keep you updated should our approach change.

IN SUMMARY
If you are a business owner, now is the time to revisit and test your business continuity plan, and ensure that your business can continue to operate, even in the worst-case scenario.
Businesses must keep up to date with the latest COVID-19 information and advice to ensure that any action taken is measured and appropriate.
This includes closely monitoring the Australian Government Department of Health and Smartraveller websites. and any advice from state or territory government agencies.
Employees have a duty to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and to not adversely affect the health and safety of others.
Employees should be reminded to always practise good hygiene and other measures to protect themselves and others again infection.
If you’re unwell – stay home, and DO NOT attend any meetings or events – we can’t stress this enough.
